Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you like soft and chewy cookies, these chewy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are for you.

A homemade cookie recipe, these drop cookies combine two favorites in one cookie.

To ensure these easy oatmeal cookies are chewy, watch them closely while they are baking. Check them for doneness at the lower end of the time range. Once done, immediately remove them from the oven as leaving them in the oven one or two minutes longer will make the cookies crispier. As soon as they are out of the oven, transfer the cookies to wire racks to cool.
